THE Raiders have announced that hooker Kurt Baptiste has signed a two-year extension with the club.
Baptiste has agreed to terms with the club that will see him remain in the nation’s capital until the end of 2018.
The 25-year-old is excited to remaining with the Green Machine and says the deal will allow to him focus solely on his footy.
“It’s great to get it organised and I’m really looking forward next two years and grateful for the opportunity the Raiders have given me,” Baptiste said.
“This will take me to five years in total with the club and I’ve really found a home her in Canberra.”
Raiders NRL Recruitment & High Performance Director, Peter Mulholland, was delighted that Baptiste has agreed to stay on board with the club.
“Kurt was an integral part of our squad in 2016, and he will play a big role in our plans moving forward in the next two years,” Mulholland said.
“Each year he has managed to improve his game in all facets, and that desire to continually improve rubs off on the rest of the squad.”
