EELS forward Kenny Edwards has been charged with domestic violence following an alleged altercation with his partner.

Edwards will appear in court on Tuesday charged with assaulting his partner after an incident at their home on Sunday.

Police will allege Edwards, 27, threw a drink with alcohol and water over a 26-year-old woman.

Police came to the house on Sunday afternoon and charged Edwards with common assault/domestic violence and intimidation.

This is the latest incident in a long list of bad publicity for the Parramatta football club in 2016.

The Eels released a statement that Edwards’ court hearing will be heard at a later date and he will be able to train with the team.
