PARRAMATTA’S ‘Mr Fix It’ Clint Gutherson has gifted Eels fans an early Christmas present by agreeing to a new deal with the club.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2019 season.
Gutherson was a revelation for the embattled club last season filling in in a number of positions before securing his spot in the halves.
“Clint is a great talent and has already made his mark on our team in his first season,” Brad Arthur said.
“He has added a great deal of skill into our back line and I’m looking forward to seeing him create more opportunities when the next season kicks off in 2017.”
Gutherson joins the likes of Corey Norman and Manu Ma’u as the latest Eels to extend their contracts until the end of the 2019 season.
