MOSE Masoe’s return to the field has taken another hit with the hulking forward undergoing further knee surgery.
Masoe is yet to to make his debut for the Dragons with the prop suffering an ACL injury last pre-season that ruled him out for 2016.
Dragons Head of Athletic Performance, Nathan Pickworth, says there is no time-frame on his return as yet due to his recent surgical history.
“We’re still working on some troubles with his knee,” said Pickworth.
“During the break he came in voluntarily and wanted to do a running session and both our lead physiotherapist Chris Bailey and myself looked at his knee and it appeared he had a mechanical problem there.
“Masoe has had surgery to remove this ‘cyclops lesion’ and we feel this is a mechanical solution to a mechanical problem and will restore his range of motion in his knee.”
