THE KNIGHTS have confirmed that Jarrod Mullen’s B sample has tested positive for anabolic steroid Drostanolone.

The news has resulted in the NRL formally issuing the playmaker with a Notice of Alleged Anti-Doping Rule Violations – which will now allow Mullen to formally respond to the anti-doping violation.

Mullen, who was tested by ASADA last November, was provisionally suspended from participating in any WADA compliant sport from January 17.

“We obviously remain disappointed with what has transpired but we will continue to respect the process and monitor Jarrod’s welfare,” CEO Matt Gidley said.
