CANBERRA have confirmed winger Jordan Rapana fractured his cheekbone in the Four Nations final against Australia.

The New Zealand winger’s untimely injury will not require surgery but he is still not fit to fly home.

Rapana will continue to be assessed in England and remain in contact with the Raiders and NZ medical staff as to when he can fly home to Australia.

Rapana is expected to be fit to start pre-season training in early Janaury along with the rest of the Raiders international representatives Shannon Boyd, Josh Hodgson and Elliot Whitehead.
