THE Sharks have announced that Clive Churchill Medallist Luke Lewis has officially signed a one-year contract with the club.
The 33-year-old has finally put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him remain with the defending premiers for 2017.
Lewis is glad to have sorted out his extension and is looking forward to replicating the team’s success next season.
“I’m very stoked to be a part of the Sharks for another year and hopefully it’s another good season like last year,” said Lewis.
“I’m looking forward to the next chapter and the next challenge and seeing where we end up at the end of the season.”
The versatile veteran is the final piece of last seasons team to commit to the club, with the retired Michael Ennis and Ben Barba the only players missing from the premiership-winning side.
