THE Melbourne Storm are in an injury crisis following last night’s State of Origin series opener at Suncorp Stadium.
Cooper Cronk, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith all picked up injuries in the Maroon’s loss to the Blues.

Cronk will be sidelined for 8-12 weeks after fracturing his ulna and dislocating the radioulnar joint in his right arm during the opening exchanges of last night’s clash – he’ll need further scans.

Fullback Billy Slater suffered a grade 2 AC joint sprain to his right shoulder and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks.

Skipper Cameron Smith has suffered a low grade sprain to his right ankle and is likely to miss 1-2 weeks. He’ll be monitored by Storm medical staff over the coming days.
