THE Roosters have announced that second-rower Siosiua Taukeiaho has signed a three-year extension with the club.
The 24-year-old, who is currently recovering from ACL surgery, has agreed to a new deal that will see him remain a Rooster until the end of the 2020 season.
Taukeiaho was delighted that he could commit his future to the club and is looking forward helping the side improve on a disappointing 2016 season.
“I’m so happy to know that I’ll continue to be part of the Roosters family for at least another four seasons,” said Taukeiaho.
“I have real trust in Robbo and have learned so much from him and the coaches over the last few years. I love the club and we’re a tight bunch and I’m excited to know that I’ll continue to work on my game and be part of the team we have here.”
Roosters coach Trent Robinson is glad to have the Kiwi international remain with the club for the foreseeable future.
“Siua’s commitment to the team is tireless and he’s worked really hard to get where he is today,” said Robinson.
“He is always looking at ways to improve his game and it’s great to know that he will continue to grow and develop at our club for at least the next four seasons.”
