HULKING winger Daniel Vidot has been granted a release from the final year of his deal with Salford to pursue a return to the NRL.
The 26-year-old endured an injury plagued first season in the Super League and has cited a desire to be closer to family in Australia as primary reason for his return.
According to the Courier Mail, Vidot has agreed to a two-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans commencing in 2017.
The former Raiders, Dragons and Broncos back endured a mixed first stint in the NRL dominated by inconsistency and injury.
Vidot will join the likes of Kevin Proctor, Jarrod Wallace and Englishman Dan Sarginson as the new additions to the franchise in 2017.
Would like to thank the Salford Red Devils Team, Staff and Supporters for all that they've done for me, nothing but love for ya's all ❤️✌????️
